Our next generation facility will allow SAGE to significantly expand its emergency, specialty, and urgent care services to the growing East Bay community. The hospital features multiple advanced surgery suites, as well as sophisticated trauma response and critical care capabilities. Our vision is to continue expansion of SAGE’s existing services to meet the ongoing demand for Neurology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Emergency/Critical Care and Urgent Care.

We strive to provide our doctors the support they need on every level. Our specialists will have access to some of the most advanced surgical and diagnostic tools available so they never have to compromise on the level of care or expertise they may be called on to provide to their patients. Our new Concord facility will be outfitted with sophisticated technologies that include a variety of scoping equipment, CT Scanners, and a mobile MRI unit that has been designed to integrate seamlessly with the new facility. Whether it’s peer support, ongoing training, or the latest equipment, we make sure our veterinarians have what they need to be the best at what they do.

ARTHREX Tower
Specifically engineered to provide minimally invasive surgical procedures (arthroscopy and laparoscopy) for small animals in order to reduce trauma and increase recovery times. Includes 4K Monitor (1080P Camera), Synergy System, Synergy Console, Synergy Imaging, Insufflator System, Shaver Console, Arthroscopy Pump, and integrates with Ezyvet.
CT Scanner
The new SOMATOM Scope CT system delivers super high quality imaging for enhanced accuracy and clinical excellence while also providing a highly efficient, space-saving footprint.
C-arm Machine
The GE OEC 9800 Plus C-Arm System represents the latest in x-ray solutions for a variety of applications including pain management, orthopedic, vascular, neurovascular and cardiac surgeries.
MRI System
Our SIEMENS Avanto MRI system is operated onsite by AnimalScan in our state-of-the-art Medical Coaches mobile unit that has been designed to look and feel like the rest of our new Meridian facility.

SAGE is synonymous with collaborative care across all specialties, including Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Neurology, Critical Care, Surgery and Anesthesiology. Collaborative care is what drives our success, enabling us to offer the highest standard of veterinary medicine and improve outcomes for our pet patients.
Associates at SAGE have experience in working on some of the most complex and challenging cases imaginable, from polytrauma cases to complex metabolic derangements. Because of this, each of our doctors offers a unique knowledge-base and rich pool of experiences that can be drawn from at any time in a very seamless, impromptu manner. Our doctors learn from each other, often asking for case advice on a daily basis.
Having immediate access to this type of cross-functional consultation is critical to working efficiently and means our doctors can pick up cases from one another with complete confidence. In fact, other general practitioner doctors will refer patients to us knowing that we have a range of specialists working under one roof in a mutually supportive, collegial environment.
